The Old Water Tower of Medan is a historical landmark which has been restored and rehabilitated to serve as the historic symbol of Medan. In rehabilitating the historical fragments of the tower, the approach taken by HDS was to devise a series of minimal interventions within this 'found' space to breath new life into this historically significant landmark. A series of identified fragments of the landmark were identified and carefully conserved by the meticulous experts with the intention of creating a solid and visually inspiring environment to reminisce and celebrate the past of Medan
