HDS Principal obtained certification on Sustainable Heritage Management on Building a Legacy
Our principal has successfully completed the Sustainable Heritage Management masterclass on "Building a Legacy." This specialized course, organized by UNESCO Bangkok in partnership with ThinkCity Institute, the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW, and the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation, focused on equipping heritage professionals with strategies to create long-lasting, sustainable impacts through heritage conservation.
The "Building a Legacy" masterclass emphasized the importance of not just preserving historical and cultural sites, but also ensuring that these efforts benefit future generations. Participants learned about sustainable practices, community engagement, and how to create enduring value through heritage projects. The course explored ways in which conservation can be integrated into broader social, economic, and educational initiatives, allowing heritage sites to serve as vibrant, active parts of the community.
Through hands-on workshops, case studies, and expert-led discussions, the masterclass offered practical tools for managing heritage sites while ensuring they contribute to community well-being. It also addressed the role of partnerships, innovative management techniques, and modern technologies in building heritage legacies that extend beyond mere preservation.
